Right now your alliance has more people on during EU prime time the ours. But i do see the problem if one side has way more people then the other side. Not sure how to fix it though. I think screens are an important and fun part of the PRE port battle, it gets more then just the same 50 players involved. Just look at most of the port battles we have had. Been the Danes v Brits show for the most part with the same 20 or so players for both sides. Ill have to think about it. i would admit that screening is good for the game, but not the way it is now, cause it's to easy and don't really need skill or tactic to do.. also should be no way to actaully prevent the port battle by just screening in my opinion.. 1

No but being allowed to sail around without getting dragged into the fight the way they are does not work either. War supplies should be a mission outside enemy ports taht stays open for say 20 min 30 min and the other nation has a chance to react to it and stop it.
Jeheil Posted November 19, 2016 Author Posted November 19, 2016 The game combat mechanics are broken at the moment, the last 6 port battles have been hostility bombs with ALL nations participating and many nations then parking under the X-swords. We have to accept the double bomb..and the amazing tripple bomb today as all we have left as far as content and fun is available until the patch. The Brits no longer have the largest player base, probably equal to the Dutch. The alliances numbers wise are reasonably well balanced, however the Danes and the Spanish have alot of ultra-active players. I have had a shocker of week, port battle entry bug took away my ONLY port battle I could participate in and the triple bomb is at 4,26am on a MONDAY morning...so I can't participate in that either. Make sure we get some videos please....and good luck Brits/Dutch and US having to defend 3 ports at once with sighting of enemies logging off in front of ports already...dunno what they do for the next 2 days...alts I s'pose. 2

Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Funny is ever Pyracy would become naturally more inclined towards being "robbers at sea" due to secondary effects of conquest mechanics and real population not working unified - hence emulating why any single pirate confederation lasted at most a dozen years. War supplies idea is good but not in the context of hostility. War supplies should be the preparatory step towards a offensive like stockpiling supplies in a Naval base to arm a invasion fleet as opposite to the idea of arming rebels.
