Hethwill is right. We suggested region depending resources some time ago. Same with Raking buffs and land fortifications in battle.

What? who did request that. I didnt. So you and Hetwhill should not write we did suggest that kind of changes. There are only a few people asking for changes, so that the game fits to their pleasure, but not the rest of us players here.

Sorry Hethwill, you know that I respect you and your meanings, but to be honest even you must  accept that the game at that stage is just for a few players and not for the masses.

I seldom dwelve in economy :) except on the sense where traders must populate the OW as much as warships do. By all naval action gods one of the best implementations, which truly opened way to many playstyles, was no teleport with good on hold.

I remember a lot of player testers going through the more complex economy suggestions since OW was first implemented.

The ideas are good, very good. We are now testing the implementation iterations.

I think people should just calm down a bit, we probably just had the biggest game change in this game since EA release. Read the patch notes for the november patch, and they plan to fine tune both the trading and crafting as wel as the conquest system.

The devs probably didn't expect the last patch to work out the way it did, as they probably thought people would embrace common and fine ship quality as being perfectly acceptable, this turned out to be an illusion. And that people would rather raise hostility by doing PvP then by doing the more boring PvE or using the Hostility Bomb, which turned out is also partialy an illusion.

I say this time next month we're complaining about completely different stuff, that probably is less important, like paint shemes and how one fort position makes it impossible to take a port, etc...

This was always meant as abit of a joke post to highlight the fact that the community complained before the patch and no surprise still complaining after the patch and there will always be some who are intent on complaining. Do I like the changes implemented?? Yes & No.. There things I like and things I don't, I'm sure some stuff I like others hate and vice versa.

Crafting has become a lot more of a commitment and involves alot more time/sailing. I actually quite like it though it does take me away from pvp.

ROE..... I don't have to much of a problem with new tagging system it's a matter of changing play style to best suit situation. Though I feel some exploits exist that are stopping pvp from being generated.

Fine wood RNG Sucks big time for various reasons one being.... I feel gives players with alts the ability to gather resources etc at a much faster pace I have no issues with clans teaming up to optimise this as intended but a single player with alts has a advantage over a single player who can't buy the game multiple times.

Remember guys as hethwill said most of these suggestions came from the player base they may not have been done to the letter but remember this is not full release we are here to test and just every now and then why not congratulate the devs, apologise for complaining so much when I'm sure they have never set out to harm the game or player base... and as spud said I'm sure after the next patch we will all be complaining again about new stuff and things..

I think there are afew exploits and dodgey tactics being used by all nations I think sorting these will be a massive step in the right direction. I'm sure we all know which exploits I mean...

This is a game which means the devs have many balls to juggle and I'm sure when they try and sort one problem it has implications else where that some are oblivious to I wouldn't want to be them guys I mean they get a rough ride from us players every time they change stuff...
