Diodo Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Instead of buying X amount of goods that weight 100lbs and cost Y/x it would be far easier and simpler to directly buy 100lbs at Y/lbs cost. This way you can also easily compare profit over the same hold weight.
Jean Ribault Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Doesn't make sense for a lot of product though. Would you order 2000 pounds of pianos if each one of them weighs 600 pounds? What do you do with the chopped up 4th piano? It won't work for a lot of what's in-game. Might make sense for sugar, tobacco, coffee, salt, or the like, but not all products. Also why pounds? That's I-P units, not necessarily internationally accepted like SI. Might be an easier way to figure out how to load up your ship, but I would prefer what we have now over the suggested methodology. 3
Billy Budd Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 As Jean Ribault has stated there are many goods items that you just can't express as a weight. I can't see anything wrong with the way things are atm as far as I am concerned. 1
