Fluffy Fishy Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Giant sailor touching pig cloud fixed Thanks for going above and beyond during the weekend Admin. Does someone have a record of this bug, it sounds hilarious. 6
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Thanks for going above and beyond during the weekend Admin. Does someone have a record of this bug, it sounds hilarious. Shame I didn't. Had the bug only once with the "thin man" at midships reaching out to the sea with those long arms ( same animation as the crew ) and reaching out to the sea and plucking stuff from the water into the ship. Was hillarious. At the same time the other squadron members were seeing the same bug in gigantic proportions and very kraken like. 2
Rabid_Infidel Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Please bring back a mouse over tooltip for port production! A simple reset so that players are not confused would do the trick. Now we have to shift through the trade tool in order to find where goods are. Can't you just modify a bit something? No need to AXE it down all together! 5
Chimera Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 @admin: Some people made 100+ millions in gold out the price bug (I heard claims of 1billion) Do you plan on taking that fraud money out of the economy again?

Chimera Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 You lost money because you "Mis speculated" on the market. That's a different thing from sitting in port all day buying an item at 50g and instantly selling it for 350g to the ai making hundreds of millions of gold. That is just exploiting a price bug

What if it was 100 billion dollars? Calm down mate.. bugs happen and some extra profits were removed. if you react to bugs this way in ea games you will get grey hair 9
ajffighter86 Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) Gonna miss giant sailor. Everyone hated him just because he was different. Please bring back a mouse over tooltip for port production! 2nd'd. Edited October 22, 2016 by ajffighter86
Blackjack McGee Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Any thoughts about increasing the number of Contraband traders in local waters. They have been completely nerfed. A lot of people enjoyed capping traders either for fun or the loot they carried. Please consider bringing them back. I am sure I am not alone. A lot of good things were included in the patch but this change seems unnecessary. Also, if you can tweak the battle circles so that when one does attack a trader it does not bring in every fleet within range that would be appreciated as well. 9
Smithy Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 would be possible for the trader tool in map to show weight of good we are looking at? 2

Thought my GPU was overheated and I therefore see some strange graphical artifacts

Blackjack McGee Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Thanks for the quick feedback. I have spent quite a few hours in game since the patch (prob close to 8 hours per day) and have not seen a single one sailing in US waters.
Powderhorn Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 In fairness, they are likely all snapped up by other players very quickly. If you sail to other regions, however, you can attack both their contraband traders and their more legitimate ones

On possible tweak is to change the behavior of AI in the outer circle. AI in inner circle, pulled into battle, AI in outer circle, ignored. That way if players want to use the AI as a screen fleet, you need to be closer to them, but it's a bit easier to cut them out when your hunting strictly AI ships. Just a thought. 2
maturin Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 half of traders are contraband ones. I haven't seen a single contraband trader in six hours of coastwise sailing (West Cuba).
Mrdoomed Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 I haven't seen a single contraband trader in six hours of coastwise sailing (West Cuba). I see them quite frequently. Ive been able to slingshot ships with no trouble and have captured dozens in one area along looking for fine fir.

Bramborough Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Please bring back the mouse over tooltip for port production. Because that data is stored client-side, I suspect they had to remove the tooltip entirely to clear the old outdated info. I expect (hope) the tooltip will be hotfixed back in tonight. Just a guess, I don't know.
UberAegis Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 I think this hotfix took medikits out the contract menu. I ve seen other player contracts for medkits in kpr but I can neither place buy nor sell contracts. 1
Sea Archer Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Can you bring in some (more) small ai fleets? Or even single ai combat ship? Yesterday I sailed for half an hour along the south american coast without a single ai in sight. When I sailed around Tumbado then, I saw big fleets (12 SOL or more), some 3rd+ frigate or so, but nothing I could even try tag with my frigate. It would be nice to have some more attackable ships for lonely cruising privateers. 2
