Lost ship because now port is spanish

Well this sucks. New patch came sounds good. Get on to find the port I log out in is now spanish so now a enemy to me as a usa player. But saw that all my trade ships that was in another port that turned spanish was moved to another free town and given a outpost there so ok those ships are safe and sound. Now the port I was in was San Sebastion. Log in to find my snow and surprise still in that port. Couldn't fleet the snow or surprise while in enemy port. So now am at a impass on how to get my ships back to safety since once i leave I can not go back again. I do hope the devs will fix this as it was there doing that my ships are in this problem.

2. set smuggler flag

3. enter enemy port

4. send ships you want out to fleet

5. ???

Well this work the second time i tried it. So did get my surprise back and all. Still annoying since I had to destroy a common improve magazine access upgrade to do it.

If you would of had read the patch note you would have known that you dont have to destroy the upgrades or remove the cannons from the ships now to add them to your fleet.
