  • All men are created equal and all crew colliders were standardized. Previously some ships had 180cm men and some had 150cm men. This is no longer the case. Although cutter captains still have the biggest hands.

Haha!

  • Carronades penetration drop from distance significantly increased making them effectively a short range weapon. Don't expect any penetrations above 500m.

  • Speed and stiffness added to selectable characteristics, all RNG removed from crafting.

European traders removed (experimental feature)

Contract number increased from 5 to 10

So is this only about the hitbox of the crew?

And is the cutter part a joke or what does that mean?^^

It looks amazing:)

I have to admit, i am a bit worried about the removal of EU traders haha, but will test it with an open mind and oh boy i cant wait for land in port battles.

The whole overhaul of the economy, man i want to test it:)  Looking forward to this patch.

Nice ! I'm eager to test that asap ! Just one small question though :

ROE (experimental feature)

We will be testing several options for Rules of Engagement – ROE this patch. This might upset some users but it have to be done before release (will be impossible after).

  • Open world battles: 2 circles system is being tested. 1 tag circle for attack and 1 large circle for pull. Battles will close instantly on start (except for rookie zones)

I play 75% of my time with either my Danish or Swedish allies. Will I be pulled in with them ? Or is it like before I need to "manually" get in just after they started combat ? Because if that is the case, does that mean I wont be able to play with them anymore ? :(
