Shooting Turns

Hi.

 

I watched many videos of Naval action battles, and in this videos, i saw that when someone shoot to someone, he shoot with all cannons at time.

 

I want to know, if you are thinking about the idea to shoot by turns, i mean like this (1.00 and 2.05 minute):

Do yo mean,

 

Fire all cannons at once?

 

or 

 

Fire only loaded cannons?

 

or

 

Fire a single cannon?

 

Some of these options are already present in the game. Single shot and fire all. Not sure about fire only loaded cannons.

I think he means all the guns fire in a pattern from one side to the other when each cannon is in visual sight of the ship.

 

Or maybe he means continuous fire mode when when the cannon fires the moment its loaded.

we discussed this alot in the testforum.

And I do think we need this kind of firing pattern.

From front to aft.

 

Also: thats the only way to shoot with very old ships. relatively meant.

So when I sail an old 64 gunner and that ship is like 40 years old there is no way the construction can withstand a whole broadside.

Instead you try to shoot only one gun at once. But in a relatively short sequence

you can do this simply by pressing spacebar
