Oddible Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 If you buy a second basic cutter for 0 gold you cannot select it to sell it so it always remains in your ship list. Additonally you cannot select it to move crew to it either. Maybe I'm misunderstanding how things are supposed to work but when I'm on the Ships screen I can see 2 Basic Cutters in my list. I click on the left one and it shows up on the right with my crew. I click on the right one and nothing happens - the stats for my crewed ship still appear on the right. I tried reducing the crew on my first cutter to 1 then selecting the second cutter and clicking Manage Crew but it still just shows my first cutter.
Ink Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Not really sure what do you mean but perhaps in the port you have only two basic cutters (and no other ships) and once you click on right ship it becomes on the left side as your currently active ship and vice versa?
Oddible Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Yeah, it is a UI problem rather than a bug - usability issue. When you have 2 ships of the same type there is no visual indicator that you have switched ships on the Home page - you have to switch over to the Equipment screen to see any differences (for instance I have 2 Basic Cutters, one has cannons the other doesn't, both look identical on the Home screen) so there is no indication that I've switched ships). There is a bug that contributes to this, the hover menu that shows the stats is identical for all ships - I have a Basic Cutter, a Trader Lynx, a Rattlesnake, and the rt-click stats hover menu is identical for all of them - though they have different red and green numbers the black numbers are all identical.
