VladtheImpaler Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 If I get attacked in a trader lynx, I should be able to attack the other ship back. Right now, the battle rating rule can prevent this from happening, which is frustrating and can be abused by a person familiar with the battle rating rule. What I've been told in-game is that the battle rating rule is to prevent griefing by taking a cheap, low-BR ship and attacking bigger ships endlessly. But I feel there should be an exemption to this rule for ships that have been attacked. Ships that have been attacked should be able to attack the ship that attacked them, regardless of battle rating. I'm fairly new to naval action, so feel free to school me on things I may be over looking.
Young Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 well i on the other hand i would like to tag a LGV in my lynx and capture it but BR prevents me from doing so. I know we need to eliminate small ship harassing large ships with tags but making Trader ships exempt from this rule would be great!

I would delete it if I could. Edited September 10, 2016 by VladtheImpaler 2
Skully Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 People got a bit upset over the use of "vengeance" in your original. I think everybody has had their say on that and we got to the real problem again. http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/15679-br-difference-threshold-should-not-include-ow-ai-fleets/ (Although the name of that topic is not really helpful either. )
