Vernon Merrill Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 (edited) Hopefully you aren't in charge of anything IRL, otherwise we wouldn't have attempted murder charges! If someone shot a person 6 times in the head but the person lived, they still tried to murder them. This person who attacked me would have killed me and taken a boat dura and a captain dura. I could have lost my boat and my captain. Oh my god!!!! Not that!!!!! (Or you could have surrendered and saved your officer life....) Edited September 10, 2016 by Vernon Merrill
Snoggy Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Or you could just, not trade in your faction capital? The gankers will go where the ganks are to be had, and that usually means capitals. Want to avoid the bulk of them? Go find a nice cozy Freeport, turn on your smuggler tag and go to town. Rarely ever see anyone in the gulf.. and if you do, it's usually an afk trader.
Skully Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Here is my standing on tagging: Looks like most folks don't read my quotation: "I agree that tagging should be changed to a 0 or very low timer with an enemy ship in your gun arcs.". Ergo a Trader Lynx can never tag anything. It was on the incoming reinforcements to do a proper intercept.

It was on the incoming reinforcements to do a proper intercept. A trader lynx can board another ship. A trader lynx can ram another ship. The trader lynx can attack lower BR ships just fine, even though it has no guns. What is the purpose of putting artificial limitations on what ships can attack? Unless I'm misunderstanding the intention of the BR rule, it was made to stop griefing that was happening in-game, not to limit what a small ship could attack. I heard there were ports that were camped with small vessels and they would harass bigger ships by tagging them endlessly. Edited September 10, 2016 by VladtheImpaler 1
