Game login error "SteamAPL Init() failed."

Hi guys,

So I've just tried to login to the game, been getting the following error: SteamAPI_ Init() failed.
I've already restarted the game, but I'm still getting the error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

(Edit: Yeah I know I wrote 'APL' in the title.. d'oh)

(Edit 2: Restarting my comp. fixed it... whops.

The general workaround is to restart Steam or reboot PC.
