Distance Measures

A couple of naive questions:

 

In Battle Screen, at what distance/range does the name of an enemy ship appear?

 

What is the distance/range of the outer rim of the positional radar (lower right hand side of the screen)?

In battle screen the names appear at about 750m. 

 

Thanks, that was my guess.  I am guessing that the outer rim of the radar is maybe around 300m?

Not sure off hand, but the minimap in battle (M) all the way zoomed in, one box = 500m
