MajorGosnell Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Attempted to do an epic post captain event by myself in a third rate. The main issue i found is that the A.I kills way to many crew with standard roundshot,by the end I had lost over 500 men. Also, even though i had 180 men assigned to cannons at the end ,no guns were being loaded, while i understand that there would be a penalty to reload times ,i dont think the current system makes any sense. Cannon crews should load some cannons when men have died, and they should only load the side your fighting from. One minute my top deck on the right would load ,then it would switch for no reason to bottom deck left. Which wehen your crew is depleted makes fighting near impossible. 1
Skully Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Fighting while getting raked is a sure thing to lead up to buying my Medkits. Looks like a gun loading bug at the end. Maybe whipping the gun crew back with F5 a couple of times would help. You definitely should have stopped the gun crew reloading at the starboard side at the end. Other than that, well done, nice fight.
MajorGosnell Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 damn im going to sound stupid, but can you actually order them not to reload a particular side?
Liq Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 damn im going to sound stupid, but can you actually order them not to reload a particular side? f5 while looking from the direction of the broadside you don't want your crew to reload will do it
Vernon Merrill Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 (edited) damn im going to sound stupid, but can you actually order them not to reload a particular side? There are no stupid questions when playing a game with no manual... lol EVERYBODY has asked a question or two like this on these forums, my friend! Edited August 30, 2016 by Vernon Merrill 1
