Quarios Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Would it be possible for the devs to change an account to pirate, since we cannot become pirates anymore by attacking friendlies ? And deleting/recreating is a big hassle.
Sir Texas Sir Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Sorry it's the only way now. To be honest we don't want every guy just changing over either. IF you really want to go you will make the new char or find a way to change your stuff over.
Skully Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Related to http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/16026-cant-attack-another-pirate/and http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/15676-x-files-the-pirate-corruption/ Neither players nor the the game could handle the "Very Hard" nature of Pirate gameplay. It needs proper definition and rework to make it happen again.
Skully Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I forgot to add, we are working out to see if and how someone should become an Outlaw/Pirate. http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/16146-pvp1-august-28th-1716-general-court-martial-of-komandør-fox2run/
Ink Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Right now to become a pirate you need to delete the current character and create a new one. Battle and craft experience is tied to Steam account directly, so it does not matter on what character and server you play. All other stuff is lost once you delete current character. But with a help from friends or clan mates you can reduce loses only to outposts, buildings and known none-standart blueprints - just go to a free port and trade all the movable stuff to a trusted person via trade window, then take it back with the new character
Quarios Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Than just remove the child-proof lock, and let us attack each other again, pretty pls <3 I get that you shouldnt be able to switch nations, but becoming pirate should still be possible ingame.
Powderhorn Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Keep in mind, the developers have mentioned a few times now that they want to look into proper outlaws, separate from (if I recall correctly), the pirate faction.
