for the TRIAL of

Komandør fox2run of Fleet VGK,

AUGUST 28th, 1716.

The Judge Advocate produces to his Excellencies, members of the Tribunal, Orders for the Court to sit, which read, are as follow:

Capital, Christiansted, August 28th, 1716.
A GENERAL Court Martial, whereof the members of the Tribunal are appointed President, will sit at the Dining Room of Skully's quarters, for the trial of Komandør fox2run. All Captains are invited to witness and attend as members.

The President, Members and Judge Advocate being sworn, the Judge Advocate prosecuting in the name of the Danmark-Norge Nation, the Court shall proceed to the trial of Komandør fox2run, and the following charges are exhibited against him.
First. With treachery, by admittedly attacking a French ally.
Second. With inattention to the progress of the enemy, with treachery, with incapacity as a Komandør respectively; by admittedly joining Port Battles with under-classed ships.
Third. With neglect of duty, with disobedience respectively; by admittedly not following Orders in such Port Battles.
Fourth. With general misconduct, with griefing respectively; by not showing the expected social behavior of a Danish officer.

Ladies & Gentlemen,
It is necessary that I should inform you of the matters, upon which the charges against Komandør fox2run are founded.

First. Statements made by Komandør fox2run, were overheard in the Tavern of Christiansted, to the effect of "If the situation allows me to attack a ship, I should be able to do so WITHOUT any interference by other captains."
Similar recounting by his own of statements made against High Command, "If YOU make YOUR OWN, PRIVATE deals like 'do not attack a French ship - because they are our friends.' please do only this on YOUR OWN behalf.."

Second. In that same monologue, Komandør fox2run claimed to have ignored the order to not join with an under-classed ship.

Third. Openly admitting to ignore the form of signals as indicated by the Commanding officer of the Battle.

Plus deliberately ignoring the authority of the Commanding officer with statements in the effect of "You can not fund an operation and then demand your OWN, PRIVATE rules. You are WRONG here!"

Fourth. With actions to ensure captains are aggravated by his conduct as an officer.

Therefore, in light of the evidence presented I request the Committee to strip Komandør fox2run of rank and station, and exile him to a life of Piracy.

It was in the early morning that Judge Advocate Skully arived at Christiansted for the court martial of Komandør fox2run.

 

Bringing along food and rum, he had set up temporary quarters with at least a good dining room to hold council.

To spread some seamen he also brought along, from the pleasure houses of Mortimer Town, some ... "MedKits". They might fetch a decent price in Christiansted after all. Every National loves an escort, although the Danish looked less squimish as opposed the British.

I am not sure how a pirate becomes a judge, but I suppose there have been cases of pirates-turned-governor, so the real question is, have things gotten so bad in Denmark that they are outsourcing their judicial system to pirates?

Dear Skully

 

I must admit that your effort to make me a pirate makes me flattered and a bit embarrassed. I am not used to this kind of attention.

 

Ironically though, as I got kicked by one of the 3 big clans in D-N nation for wanting to make an all out war versus the pirates and arguing for a peace with GB. Now the swedes did just that and took a lot of ports... Never mind. There will be a map wipe soon with a whole new system. Hope it will get us easier access to large battles and a less, stressfull PB-system to defend.

 

If you where actually reading the stuff I wrote, you would know by now, that I would never accept any home-made-private-mob-voting-system regarding my future destiny.

 

 

I am a player with 0 warnings and 0 bans. That should be sufficient for now.

that was a nice summation.

 

But on the other way, did you really understand that you are getting judged by the court of law which represents the other "normal" players?

 

This is not about: "Can we punish you" - Cause we cant like an admin would be able to do (or like we normaly should be able to if we follow the history - "hang him high" -Just sayin- ).

 

Still, this should at least reflect the oppinion of other players regarding you. Please, at least take something out of it.
