Nyurtle Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I remember when i first got the navy brig. I was so excited to have what some told me was a kind of rare blueprint. I thought the ship must be worth something even though everyone told me that the mercury was better in every way. I crafted and sunk about 4 of them before I finally caved in and accepted the truth... the navy brig is only a mistake to sail it has no perks over any other and I'd love to see it have at least one unique aspect or advantage that another of it's class does not. And maybe not as important but I'd like to see the Essex have some type of buff to make it a competitor to the Trincomolee. :]
angriff Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Funny you put in a comment with no suggestion. The knights of neigh dont come in and slam you for not putting in a suggestion. Shows you how awful they really are.. I will suggest that they put in the ability to switch two guns to bow chasers as an option if you want
Skully Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) I concur with my fellow Knight of Ni, this is also better suited for General Discussions. (This is almost as good as the musical...) Edited August 28, 2016 by Skully
Nyurtle Posted August 28, 2016 Author Posted August 28, 2016 I suggested they give the navy brig something to make it viable and i think the suggestions section is probably the best place for suggestions,..... 1
Prater Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 There's nothing special about a navy brig, nor does there need to be. Merc isn't better in every way. I prefer the navy brig. It has more health, which is why they were used in port battles prior to the rattlesnake.
Nyurtle Posted August 29, 2016 Author Posted August 29, 2016 except the navy brig doesnt have more health 8(
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Will always be my favourite brig. Can take wind like a Mercury can't and will spell death ( 1v1 ) to a speedy Snake given guns placed low and snake high waterline. Once it was introduced back in ST I never touched a Snow again since then. I find it quite capable.
Rikard Frederiksen Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Nothing wrong with the Navy Brig. I don't like sailing it myself, but I know to be weary of it in my smaller ships.
