Fargo Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=159736-1472035485.png Roughly estimated this 42pd cannonball (19kg) weights about 1500 kg Is there a reason cannonballs are displayed so huge?! 1
maturin Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 In the past I've joked that we're firing sawdust-filled watermelons at each other.
Salzi Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 42lb cannon should be using a 6.68 inch diamaiter ball so yeah you are right thats way too large ^^
Cecil Selous Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) I would like to know how the size of the cannonballs ingame affect the accuracy. Are cannonballs considered as a point mass and only a direct hit to a mast counts? Or is the virtual diameter of the ball the important aspect so we also have graze shots to the mast. And if so is it the real diameter of the ball or the one we see ingame (the medicine ball sized one)? Edited September 16, 2016 by Cecil Selous
