Last night I scouted Higuey in my Privateer from La Mona.  I found a Danish Trinc sitting in screen position outside the port.  When I clicked on the port battle I saw 1 Pirate and 0 British in the port battle.   This major port fought over by so many British just the week before was taken by one player with his alternate account.  There were no British to be found and port after port is falling.  

 

The game must have a limit on port flags based on faction ability to participate or it is doomed to failure.

The system of 'flags' is being replaced completely in a month or so.

I have read the notes but if a faction is not present at the right time in this game it becomes meaningless.  I suppose we will see but action should be based upon available personnel in a faction.

Something you will actively have to work for.

No simple flag but a lot more work into PBs.

Why leave.. it has been the most fun I have had in game in a long time.

I have been enjoying the hunting of pirates in some of the smallest cheapest ships in history. Quite literally out pirating the pirates.

Finally getting the other part of the game besides boring port battles! Grats and good luck.

Its a pvp server last time I checked. Why not try it or go to pve.

idk when the last time you fought was but im the most active PvPer on the US, dont try that with me m8  however you are correct that many do carebare all over the place....i believe that if you removed all of the PvEers in PvP 2, you would end up with like 80 active players TOPS.

i have a habit of throwing myself infront of people to save them, i either get nothing, or i get all the praise, plus ships .  i find that if u commit and stay regardless of odds, some wonderful things can happen, for instance, me and another US got tagged outside Tumbado today by 2 rat bucs, and we were in an ingermanland, and a santa cecilia (me), plus a trinc in fleet, and we smoked em, soo you really dont know what will happen unless you stay, chances are, you'll atleast have fun.

I've been having fun win or lose in PvP.  It's a game and I don't take it extremely seriously so I just do whatever tickles my fancy at the time. Even if I know I'm going to get rekt.

 

I'm anxious for the new PB mechanic because it's similar to how POTBS handled it. Not going to be so starry eyed that I think it'll encourage the carebears to suddenly be less so, but at least it'll curb chain capping ports.

That was a fun series of 3 fights we had, 2 with you, but on the last one my ping shot up to 4000 and when it came back down i had 83 outa 800 men left so we decided to bolt. Not sure why gdzila got stuck.

You saved that ingermanland twice lol. I think my friend just left his ship afk and went to work so not sure if he died or not till he gets home.

Was a good fight.
