Why cant people figure this out lol. Its like if some of these testers read a mystery novel the start with the back cuz they have to know and have everything right now!

Go out, play the game, do what you where doing. Eventually all the eggs will be found. Isnt it more fun finding a secret treasure then being told exactly where to find the not secret treasure?

I blame the WoW, and the likes, generation: Mission: Do this, go to this spot, talk to the character there, go to next waypoint, talk to this guy, kill these dudes located at that waypoint, pick up the stuff they drop, come back to me here.... so on so forth. 

 

It's a bit sad. No imagination, no need for braincells at all. And people expect that in every game they play

People have been getting notes in game about the special events.   Maybe if you get  out and explore/attack ships you find these same notes too.   HINT:  ATTACK TRADERS NPC's.

My speed Rennon just captured a Trade Brig and the captain was nice enough to hand me over this important info.

Ok some hints I can work from this now.  Off to go do some trader capping.

I confirm you can get the strange notes in regular PVP fight, even if there are no ships lost.  I got one despite inflicting minimal damage and no ship were lost in this engagement.

the update that happened lastnight was them giving us the gunboat for able people and im guessing including the bp in that mysterous note

So I've got myself a strange note.  No way I can be awake at the hour it says, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.

The holds capacities, especially of small traders, were annihilated and I'm restraining myself to add more adjectives.

It seems that from now on, only le gros ventre and indiaman will be useful for trading and the other ships will be just for sightseeing and drinking cocktails with fellow sailors and family.

He means the hold were expended in the hotfix

It seems that from now on, only le gros ventre and indiaman will be useful for trading and the other ships will be just for sightseeing and drinking cocktails with fellow sailors and family.

The other traders are still useful in shallow waters and smuggling stuff.  People forget until they find out the war ships are limited on the number of items.  So while they can hold more tonnage, but they can't hold as many diffrent items as one might have in the trader.  I also like this means that folks need to do more trips, which means more targets.
