Test results...Pray , Paint

Have concluded my testing on the Pray and Paint additions.

 

Pray results.

 

1) Shows up in game and I am able to click it many times

2) Counter seems to properly count down

3) Players have conversed many times about this option (result is players have bonded and now wish to chat with Devs)

4) Having 12 clanmates get in a circle and all click Pray ....still no Kracken or the voice saying "RELEASE THE KRACKEN" happens .......(that may be a bug)

5) Testing still ongoing, but have to get a new monitor, I may have punched a hole in current one.

 

Paint results.

 

1) Loaded game Paint option is showing

2) Loaded game again Paint option still showing

3) Loaded Game, Paint Option is still showing

4) After breakfast loaded game, Paint Option is still there.

 

result Paint option is a success...its there

Pray only works if you are being tagged, gives you a chance to evade your attacker.

 

 

And paint's only given out by mods through silly pve events.

 

Dev specifically said that was not the case and is a false rumor.

LoL, Gotta love those patches that come with "secret"/hidden changes and unexplained or poorly explained game mechanics.  We're testing this game for  these guys at our expense.  Just come out with how to use Paint and Pray and how the Event BP drops will work...we'll test it and get back to you.  It's that simple!

Are most of us testing the game or playing the game?  Our expense?  Except for the money we paid for the game (and many have hundreds and thousands of hours so the entertainment we bought has cost us about 2 cents an hour, compared to going to a movie that costs $10 for 1.5-2 hours), what is our expense?

It seems now that after 48 hours with all of us madly trying to figure it out they could perhaps throw us a bone.  

 

I enjoyed the previous patch with smuggler snuck in, but I really have no idea about the items in this patch.

Praying: no confirmed action or effect to it yet.

Paintjob: It is ingame, but no confirmation as how to get it. Most likely and obviously it will be a reward of the special events , but that is speculation.

Special Blueprints: Most likely bound to the special event and the upcomming tournament. Once those blueprints start getting on the market it will go swiftly, easy is a different thing.

 

So basically all we know is that there will be a special event, hell i dont mind they didnt tell us the specifics. It makes it so much more epic  and i for one am really really curious what it will be like. Untill then i keep praying and thats all we can do:D

After spamming Pray numerous times there is a random chance I get a message saying (paraphrasing somewhat) "You are not able to join battles for X seconds" ... where X seems to be between 10-20 seconds.

 

So it seems it makes you "immune" to being attacked for a very short time... and given that it seems completely RNG when it triggers it's absolutely not a safeguard against ships coming at you with ill-intents.

It has been confirmed by the admin/ developers that praying has nothing to do with the ROE/ rules of engagement.
