In Fact we had as a clan by our self taken a very close pirate port from them without any help from any other clans or US players. In fact most of the Bahama defence that keep ports in US hands was cause of our clan showing up. It wasn't until after we left and started to help the underman, but more organized Pirates that they keep taking ports from ya'll. AGAIN WE SWITCED cause of how TOXIC the older US players and some of the newer ones trying to prove something was to other players. You will never win when you keep the do it my way or the high way attitude that many of the US players have. You lost your best players cause of how much you treated them like crap not cause you where loosing. There are still a lot of great players on the US side and they will prob get burned out sooner or later. They are the guys that are still showing up at Port Battles and trying. If you guys get the stick out of your arse and stop thinking of just yourself and think of your Nation as a whole.....you would easly stop loosing so many ports and will be able to stand as the strong powerfull Nation you should be with the number of players you have compared to any other Nation. Baloney! You left because you were losing. So basically you left because you were losing just like us, and many of us are losing ships so fast as US that we have nothing but store bought ships. You coward'ed out and left your nation when your nation needed you the most, just like all the other scrubs. My victory that was sunk with 1 broadside with 28 leaks, that was one I just build and was its first battle, exceptional too. That Mercury that was sunk with only 8 shots causing 8 leaks, that was an exceptional with an exceptional pump with extra planking. You are just making up the whole "toxic environment" B.S. because it makes you feel good inside about your desertion to the pirates. You just do not want to admit it. You do not want to be a loser like all the other scrubs, when things got tough, instead of trying to help and work with the teams here, you deserted. Your no different cheesefuhrer and his scrub clan. He escaped a battle and left his own nation's people to die in a port battle that was evenly matched, now he is a pirate because we criticized him for his actions. So, over time, the pirate nation will get larger and larger until the entire server is swarmed with pirates. Why is this so hard for you to understand? I am sure British, danish, french, and Spanish players have jumped ship on the pirate bandwagon at some point. PVP1 had the right idea with all nations attacking the pirates because they should not really be considered a nation. Also, You should lose everything, your ports, your resources, and your ships when you go pirate. Then people will think twice before jumping ship. It needs to be made very painful for players to switch nations so it does not happen often. No, the reason why people are jumping over to the pirate nation is because everyone wants to be a winner and no one wants to be a loser. People jumped ship to pirates because we were losing and then complaining about it in chat and blaming other people. Your post is just a "feel good" justification for your actions if you left your nation to go pirate. You pirates are all just a bunch of scrubs made up of cowards that jumped ship when things got tough. Maybe my clan and I should all go pirate and swell the ranks until there is no one left but pirates. Then we can all feel good and tell ourselves, "well they were mean to us and said mean things." That will create a really healthy and balanced game now wouldn't it? As it stands now, the ranks of the pirates are swarming with old US players because they got but-hurt when they lost a battle or 2. If you were once a US player and jumped ship to go pirate, I have little to no respect for you. Really shows the character of many of the people in this game. You can keep all the cowards. Hopefully the US nation can build a player-base of loyal players that wont coward out to the pirates when things get tough. Eventually, when we come back strong, the true colors of the pirate player base will start to show, except they will be stuck as a pirate unless then want to lose their stuff to go back to a nation. You obviously dont know me. My clan has never taken a port. We are pirates. Also in your defense of yourself you acually said exactly what i did in other words lol. Chill dude in a few weeks all the wanna be nationals will be US again and taking over the map. THEN the game will be ok again. Lmao.

No wonder so many switched to PvP1...LOL I do like how the troubled kids on both servers played US and never had a problem with the game UNTIL pirates started pushing them back ha ha ha ha. Cant wait to see what thier new excuses will be once the changes take place.

Its funny how you USA nationals try and say everyone left because they were losing, when the people leaving both those that left months ago like myself and newer people have all said the same things #1 No cooperation, I remember being in TS when lionshaft told us his clan (which if the politics thread is to be believed is by far the largest on the entire server) said that his clan was going to do the opposite of whatever the other USA clans were going to do. Point blank from the get go USA doesnt want to work with USA. #2. Insufferable players like JP johns, baron, elmo JP and Baron regularly telling people to die/get cancer and elmo blatantly doing green on green over and over again in PBs. Numbah 3. A pisspoor attitude towards newbies and each other in general. On USA side, the sentiment is/was "if youre not in my clan im not helping you out that much" just go look at the ship prices in Ctown they're so outrageous its laughable. Meanwhile having played for both the brits and now pirates, there are people almost virtually lined up to help you, tell you where to get mats, and where to sell em to make money quickly, offering you boats/offering to do missions with you, offering you some gold so you can get your own econ up and running more quickly Number 4 A total aversion to PVP. I cant even count how many times it would come up that an enemy was going to attack a US port, and instead of people trying to rally to go defend people would just excuse it. Basically if it wasnt near their clans "home" it didnt matter/they didnt care. Meanwhile playing on other teams, there are people asking in national chat where they need to go, what the TS info is etc etc. There's just an entirely different atmosphere if you will about protecting whats "ours" while the USA is just apathetic "we have the most ports" "well just get it back later" etc etc. people would rather go fish or jump AI boats than PVP. Yesterday I saw a group of pirates jump a USA guy outside tumbado..he had 10 clanmates online most of them sitting in port, not 1 of them even bothered trying to help him. When the server made an agreement to try and allow every nation at least 5 ports so that people could come and play whatever faction they wanted..the USA went about conquering spain to a single port. So go ahead and keep saying only cowards left the USA faction etc, you're just ignoring the fact that the USA on pvp2 has been driving players from its ranks all on its own for a very long time now. No wonder so many switched to PvP1...LOL I left EU to come to pvp2 because EU has all the problems of pvp2 but amplified Also im still waiting for an explantion as to how pirates are OP... they have the same wood types to build ships out of...the same cannons...the same mods to put on ships...the same ships...the same amount of crew per rank..the same perks for their officers (although I would gladly take the nationals 10% faster reload over the pirate 1knot faster perk)..the only difference between the two is...skill. I only buy labor contracts for use on the other servers...all the DRAMA is laughable and keeps me entertained!!! So please...don't stop for the love of God!!!

This is why we have been avoiding front on attacks. We dont show up to port battles sometimes, because we dont have the players to do it. Half our nation went pirate remember? Anyone who left their nation to go pirate is a coward. Everyone wants to be a winner and no one wants to be a loser. Sorry, but the truth hurts. I have taken multiple screenshots, and linked them in chat of USA en masses of 10+ players doing missions/fishing outside of tumbado/Ctown and in the surrounding areas instead of going to defend PBs that are taken by groups of 3 pirates sometimes..oh and those same USA players..they're in 1st rates, bellonas, trincs, connies, so spare me on the "we dont have ships" you have plenty you're just afraid of losing a few pixels so you dont bring them to battle. Also sure Baloney, keep telling yourself that, thats why multiple people who have been switching for months, myself included have all been saying the exact same things about USA on pvp2 in what i listed in my previous post as the reasons they left...they must be just all collectively making it up..right right...That includes people leaving when USA had 130+ ports like it did a couple of months ago while pirates had ~30-40 ports...but they just wanted to join the winners...so totally makes sense to leave for the smaller faction(s)...riiiight Like I said USA brought everything on themselves and has been decaying for months now. If calling people cowards etc instead of trying to fix whats wrong with your faction is how the remaining USA players want to be to make themselves feel good about the awful state they're in, then go ahead like they say ignorance is bliss. It was a shell though, because, as you can see, we cant hold it. you cant hold it because you choose not to, ive seen plenty of players online for USA, they choose to fish and do missions, and your largest clan refuses to work with the nation as a whole. USA brought this on themselves and thankfully its not done yet.

Clans left to come Pirate when Pirates where in a tough spot we had like 20-30 ports when they came over. Like I said we never complained when US would take 10 ports a day and pirates win one as it was one clan BLACK clan doing most of the fighting. You only got to ask the big US clans why people leave, all you do is bully them. 1

None of you statements are supported with facts. DO you home work. You say we have 200 players the server is lucky to get over 200 unless its the weekend. You say for months US has been in decline and losing well its actually been the last 5 days the onslaught started. Most of us stayed and levelled and remember those days. We got our stuff together and made plans and grouped up. So all of a sudden US is on the ropes and its Dear Devs, game is broken my boats and farms are stuck because a game of conquest and losing ports has ruined my gaming experience. Do you know how many times I moved compass and tobacco farms because US took the port. Alot. So learn to adapt to the game, give your players free boats and teach them pvp techniques its what we do. You should check my screenshots I posted elsewhere a bunch of SOLs, trincs, and the like outfront of ctown doing missions and fishin instead of PBs. The thing is you DO have enough players, you just choose not to defend. People have been leaving the USA for months long before the pirates had the majority of ports on the map. Also why the personal attacks, and insults you need to chill out man. Goos-fra-ba and all that stuff. The first one, you cant really tell what ship they are in, but looking at the ranks, it looks like it is filled with new players on USA side. Also, you were in enemy territory at that time and posing a serious threat to the coast. Of course the US is going to engage. The second one is more telling. I count 13 1st rates to our 3 maybe? Again, looks like lots of new players on USA side. But another thing, look at how devastating our losses have been. We cant fight back if we do not have ships to fight back with. You wonder why we are always rolling store bought ships. Its because its all we have. You wonder why we sometimes do not manage to get to port battles and fight, accusing us of being care-barres. Ridiculous! We always come out to fight when we can. I don't know about other players, but the losses in ships have been so devastating, sometimes I don't have the gold to even buy a basic ship from a port to come fight. Doesn't help when my exceptional ships I build are getting sunk in 1 broadside with full health either, which is why I started my post in combat mechanics about the ridiculousness of such crap game mechanics.

If I was leader of a faction in your shoes this is how I would do it. First dont pay attention to people saying to protect all your ports when its a loss cause. Time to say f it and fine 3 or 4 close to home ports and just defend the hell outa them and use thier resources ( i believe its been said everything we need to make ships is within 3 or 4 ports) till you can make the ships you need to expand again. Sucks but its better than a stick in the eye. The pirate came back from 1 port camped 24/7 by allied US and british forces. 1
