Why constant updates on Steam and no notes?

This must be the 5th time i had to download some patch through Steam and not one update.. Come on

They pretty much only do patch notes for major patches.  What your doing now is hotfix/mini patches as the tweek things.  Remember this game is an Alpha and we are the testers.  They don't have to tell us every little tweek they do.

No they didn't they never posted about a patch or change unless it was something drastic or they wanted testing more so that happened during sea trials and early OW maybe.

Yes, yes they did. If they changed something, they let us know because they wanted feedback. Now, they just don't care.

Where is this bitterness and hostility suddenly coming from? Many changes have been surprises. For example, the fishing took all of us by surprise. We generally like pleasant surprises, but some of those cannot happen without discreet changes.

In other words, if you had all info all the time, you'd never "suddenly" have new content.

The hotfix's pretty much been just tweeking those new changes.   That and a lot of game like to add content to the game you have before it's activated so that it doesn't take so long to do the updates of all the changes.  I'll use The Division as an example.  Most new guns that come out are on the files a patch before you can actually use them.   They just don't unlock until the next patch comes out.  So this is nothing new.  It's there game and if they need to change something here and there it's ok with me.  Though I do think a little not of saying hotfix tweeked fishing and bottles would be fine, but I all ready figure that was part of it.  Some of them are to fix breaks in the game too.

Minor updates were never posted on forums.  It is down right pointless to post about minor adjustments especially if they don't affect game play.   Tell me did the recent update change game play any?

it could also simply be a form of pre loading models for later patches to keep the dowload size at a minimum
