I've noticed that some players have been waiting in the O.W. battle area for players to leave combat so they can overwhelm them with clan or nation support. Also another tactic is to wait in numbers inside the battle screen just outside of a port until an unsuspecting ship is almost on top of this area. The look out will then let the other players in their nation know when to pop out and attack, almost like a cloaking device.

I'm just wondering if the respawn back to the open world could be random by a grid square or 2 to try and give the players a chance to run or fight after being ready.. In the open world you can avoid or push the attack, during the respawns you don't have this luxury.

Maybe a good counter for this would be random position respawning..

Any thoughts?

Would sure be nice to do anything to defeat the port huggers who refuse to help their friendly players but are all so eager to wait in groups of 30 for an hour till they can kill the lone ship.

I think unfortunately you and i and a few other hunter privateer or just regular players are the only ones who think its lame sit in massive ganking groups.
