So some people are super rich from PVE or tabacco farming. It would be nice to have some way to steal their money and not just their cargo or ships. My suggestion, have blackjack or other gambling games at free towns. What do you think?

Well one thing to keep in account is that the west has very strict gambling laws as such it could bring some legal complications for the game. Do note though im no lawyer or anything.

Ingame gambling?

No legal problem with that, as long as you don´t enable to introduce real money transactions to buy ingame stuff.

As long as you gamble virtual gold = legal. If you can buy virtual gold with real money = illegal.

Still, implementing it would be tough, sigh....

But, wow.

Let me have a "heads up" game of Hold ´em with a top rated Santissima on stake at Mortimer Town !

Basically, you win or loose a Santissima.

It is the same then entering a PB and loosing it.

Different story, if you are able to "buy" the Santi with real money and then gamble for it...

* Walks to the tavern, takes a seat at the local poker table. 15 minutes later finding out his skills at poker are dissapointing and having lost 1,5 mil  to Captain Bubbles and Olav. Leaving the tavern and going back the open seas again to hunt pirates and smugglers to make up for the money lost.*

hell yeah! i can live with that haha, it would be epic. But not an priority at the moment for sure. Some extra money sink is ok i guess:) I would sail over to Tommy and Ellis and gamble all day long, brag about money prizes taken and hide my losses.

Law on this is very clear. And NA has no loophole on this. There's no premium currency cycle nor any way to recycle to and from the game.

I would suggest Mexicali ( Liar Dice ) or if the devs ever want to go into "let's try something interesting" for some novelty factor ( and some gaming true historical background ) Cartagena card game.

This game tries to reproduce a famous 1672 jailbreak of about 30 pirates from the supposedly impregnable fortress of Cartagena. It is said that not long after this astounding escape, a game celebrating it became popular in the pirate coves of the Caribbean; and that a faster, more chance oriented version was played in Jamaica, while a slower, more skill-oriented one was played on Tortuga Island. Which is why in our game, too, we offer two ways of playing: a "Jamaica way" in which chance plays more of a role and a "Tortuga way" based mainly on skill. As explained in the rules, the difference between the two versions is only in the layout and handling of the cards. In all other respects the two versions are identical.

Just won the Tobacco lottery by selling the maximum transaction size of 5000 for $750/p.

Another $3.75M into the pocket.

It's already in. ;)

Would be cool at least to be able to play Whist (popular card game in 18th and 19th centuries) in game while sailing 3 boring hours towards a wreck :P
