officer rank/pts messed up by today's hotfix

The Perks thread is locked...so I am dropping this here, I have F11'd this to.

 

I reset my perks a couple of times.

 

I have spent 5 points so far...and have Max XP...but only have 3 points to spend ?!?

 

I think the reset brokerised the maths.

Double Charge 1pt

Prepared 1pt

Detemiend Defender 2pt

Press Gang 1pt

 

So thats 5, I am max level...so I should have 5 to spend...but am only showing 3 !!!

Today's hotfix seems to have fixed the "fleet" issue, but there is a new problem:

 

 

Before the hotfix my officer was rank 8, i was working to get exp for the final ranks and the 2 pts for the last perk.

 

Today all of the sudden the officer is max rank (eventhough i didnt gater more than 20 ish exp from a trader cap), but there are no pts. 

 

Thus i have an officer r10 with 8 points in perks and cant gather more exp/pts...

 

I've sent an f11 report 5 mins ago 

 

IGN is same as forum handle.

 

 

Pls tell me if this can be fixed or if I should just reset the officer.

2 perk prices were messed up

Storage master became 7 pts, expert carpenter was 7 pts became 3 points.
Thats probably the reason.

Exactly the same thing happened to my officer after today hotfix. Max level reached with 5 points spent (Press Gang, Double Shot, Double Charge, Determined Defender) and only 3 left.

The two threads were redundant, and thus were merged together.

 

Just looking at the charts -

Jeheil has 5 points spent, 3 free, but it states he has maxed out his officer as well.

Jan van Santen should only have 8 points spent, but has 10 spent, maxing out his officer.

Red Jack mentions the same, also having the press gang perk.

 

I note that my own officer seems fine, so it may be a specific perk at fault here.

Press gang is the common perk between them.

I have press gange and no issues with mine.

I have reached level 10 with my officer.

I was expecting one additional point for buying perks but I didn't got it.

It will be fixed in the next hotfix patch. The current workaround is to reset.

Reset drops you 3 ranks though yes ?

Have same problem.

officer at max rank, used 7 points (Pirate and Prepeared) says just 2 left.

I am level 10 and only 6 points.  I was just about to get  1 more point ....darn it.   I spent hours for 4000 xp and now its gone.   HELP????
