Officer Suggestion For Multiple Officers

I think having a officer with one perk, one speciality. It stops people from stacking perks, thus making things worth less, as is what is happening with most 'perks currently. 

I think Officers should have an upkeep or cut of your prize money from battles, too. 

I know this sounds harsh, but I'd hate the game to become all about stacking perks. I'd rather concerntrate leveling one officers skills and feeling achievement.

Still, CB is with the dilemma of creating new officer types and assigning all the perks and converted upgrades to the proper officers...and creating more perks for some. Any thoughts?

This would actually be really fantastic with multiple (diminishing-return) officers. Each officer would have a flat 10% cut of every battle, so one would be paying up to 40% of their battle-earnings to 4 officers who can provide, at most, the benefit of 2 officers.

I'd rather have multiple officers to choose but only one is in charge at one time and therefor only his perks count.

Maybe give officer slots based on player rank (how it would make sense for an admiral to have multiple officers below him).

Maybe "officer" is the wrong term in this topic title, especially considering the names of each "officer". All of them are recorded positions on nearly all ships, and they all had specialties related to their position on the ship. And some of them knew things that other "officers" of the same position on a different ship.
