I dont know if its just me, in the last 2 days Im catching a LOT less fish. Anyone else? Did they quietly nerf fishing? Forget about the bottles, lol.

If you go deep in the Open Ocean you catch less and if you stay closer to the shore your catch will increase greatly. Fishing varies by locations as well.

Im not sure this is the case, personally i find that you catch about the same amount of fish everywhere. Though near the capital in my experiance is worse but its of course all anecdotal.

I think they comp you for the less fish as I tend to catch bigger fish (sharks and such) in the open sea deeper waters.

Oh I been bitching cause I have yet to get a bottle and I got one tonight after a battle.  I open it and just as I did I got another bottle.   Time to do some speed runs all over the map.

I moved to a new fishing area and I have been catching Marlin and Mako Sharks.  Now do I just grind them up or is there some port that uses them?   The Herring I know to grind them up.  Maybe we can set up a building and taxidermy the Marlin catches.

Some 'game' fish demand a high price in port shops.

Manta Ra, Flying Fish, Bull Shark, Mako Shark to name but a few.  They will command at least 5K each in all ports and up to 7.5K each in some regional capitol or Free ports.

Manta Ra always makes me smile...God of fish :)

Well that is nice because the Mako Shark is not accepted in Southern Ports.  They only take Bull Head and Hammerhead Sharks as long as you have identification.  ;)

Is it true people have found bottles just sitting afk and checking in every 20 minutes or so? Only finding bottles while moving shouldnt be too hard to implement if the devs wanted to but I suppose on the other hand who cares how people fish.
