Speed calculation

Hello, everybody !

 

I just got my golden Bucentaure (devs, thank you very much !  ) in teak wood, speed. Totally unfitted, i had a 0,40 knt bonus added to the basic 11,66 knt, or a bonus of 3,5% that matches with the global observations. Thus, I fitted her with an extra-planking and a copper plating of respectively -5% malus and +2,5% speed bonus. Then, I should have 3,5 - 5 + 2,5 = 1% speed bonus, or 0,12 knt added to my basic speed. Instead, I have -0,79 or a -6,7% malus.

 

My question is: WTF ? Is that a bug, or a rectification of the extra-planking malus that haven't been corrected in the description of the upgrade ?

Inbuild Speed gives a fixed 0,4 kn bonus, but it matches the 3,6% in this case pretty good, so thats no explanation.

Shame on me, I forgot to addition the malus of the guns.
