Mrdoomed Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Ok so the medkits are made of rum, food and smokes. Not sure what doctor carries that around lol. To me it seems like the med kits are really more like kits for a banquet including a FT after all they replenish lost crew not fix the ones youhave. Why dont we have real med kits that we use like repair kits for sails? You could have sails , hull , amd crew. Medkits could be crafted from soap/cleanser ( made from whale or animal oil hint hint) rum/alcohol and medicine. Medicine could be makde from a new buidling called a lab. These real med kits woul work just like repair kits in combat bringing back a % of crew in combat . This way we have party/bbq kits to entice men to join your happt crew and medkitd to heal them ? More economy, more commerce and more possibility? 1
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Medical labs? It's a little early for Louis Pasteur is it not? Medicine at the time involved elixers, a small amount of herbalism, and laudanum. "Physicians" mixed their own tinctures based on their personal beliefs about what fixed things (kerosene applied to the scalp to try and stop balding wasn't uncommon). The idea of a medical lab crafting medicine is pretty far advanced I would think.
Baptiste Gallouédec Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 (edited) No crew coming back while in combat please.. Otherwise, adding different medicinal plants as resource and oil / soap as craftable consumables could be a nice idea but nothing really hurry. Edited July 18, 2016 by Baptiste Gallouédec

That's why i said lab not medical lab...thought it was generical enough. Edited July 18, 2016 by Mrdoomed
