I wail for my bottle

There I was sailing to Conil to save the day.

 

The weather was a b*tch, visibility just beyond the bow.

 

The wind was against me, I was hardly moving at all.

 

Just as I lost sight of my fellow captains, I fished up two bottles in a row!

 

But I was still sailing for Conil to save the day...

 

Using one bottle, I still had one bottle left.

 

And thus I had no choice, but to sail into battle with that one bottle.

 

Only to be sunk at the last second of being overrun in boarding...

 

Now I can only cry from deep within Davy Jones Locker: I want my bottle back... booohoooo....

 

Surely the Gods of this realm did not intend for bottles to be sunk this way.

 

There is no fairness, there is no justice, booohooooo .....

 

Let my ghost's wailing hunt you all for hours on end... boooohooo .... boooooohoooo ....

i play an sail a lot almost every day since the patch

and never get a bottle....

I have found 5 bottles , all sailing up and down the USA side of Florida . However , the first 3 I have opened have all been south of Cuba !!

I went to retrieve the first 1 last week , took almost 5 hours of sailing round trip , the second one I skipped over cuz it was even further south of the first .

The 3rd I opened killing the 2nd was even further south , probably 6 hours , even sailing out of Cape Canaveral . It would be nice to see a shipwreck near 

Walkers Cay or Little Issac Rocks  :-}

Well apparently the environmental waste disposal team must sail directly ahead of me then because i play and sail quite a bit and all over the map and have never seen a bottle.

Found 4 bottles today. Never had this kind of luck before

Found 2 more last night near an outpost I don't use much.  Sailed back to the outpost and remembered I already had 2 bottles stacked there.  4-bagger now.  Bottles do happen, but try sailing in new locations maybe that helps a bit.  4-bagger in a different outpost as well.  Might cash them in some day.

 

Skully, one of them had your name on it I think.  I'll sell it back to you.

I FOUND MY FIRST BOTTLE ! Cool graphics in the wreck. Makes me think the devs should add shipwrecks that spawn after particularly bloody pvp battles where ships sank. They could stay on the mapnfor x amount of time before fading out and if a player finds one he could possibly salvage a few guns or cargo and maybe some survived crew to be added to tje ranks..

Only for pvp battles.
