pca Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Hi cheers developpers,i would suggest that be able to establish a contract on a pirate or enemy faction player with minimum rules :Only one contract at a time for each targeted player Only one contract will be possible to do. For avoiding cheating. the amount of the contract must be in relation with the class of the ship which is the ship ot the target when i has been sunk.Examples :I establish a contract of 200 k gold on a pirate player. If this pirate is on a basic cutter, the amount of contract is 0% of 180 kand so on, for example : 1st class : 100% amount of contract 2nd class 80 % 3rd class 60 % 4e class 50 % 5e class 30 % 6e class 20% for avoidind a"war" between the player who sink the player contracted, i suggest that the amount will be shared between them . Onlythe players that have a mimimum one hit on the ship will be able to have part of contract. In my example, if the contracted player is on a 3rd class and there are 3 player on it.for 180 k of contract = 60 % out of 180 k, that is 60 k for each player. So, up to you cheers developpers 1
Cpt Blackthorne Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 I like the idea and hope something similar get added. For now, I've made PvP2's Bounty page. http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/14653-pvp2-player-bounties/
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Player established contracts opens way to rig the system somehow, don't really like it. But I would enjoy a similar system to E:D in which the bounty is established by the action, the ship value and the cargo value and is actually used by pirates and opposing captains as bragging rights and, when they are destroyed, bragging rights for the hunt.
