Fletch Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 What do you think about having a designated flag ship for large port battles? By that I mean a command ship, with command modules and upgrades providing some bonuses to ships within a certain range of it. The cost would have to be very expensive of course but it might open some more tactical options on the battle field.
Foghorne Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I think it is another feature removing a player's skill. Just like modules which I disapproved since day one of OW. 3
Vernon Merrill Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Imagine a world where player skill mattered more than the magic potions of "bonuses" and "perks"...
Tief N Tote Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 i think anything more then what we have now falls in to the category of magic
Fletch Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) Imagine a world where player skill mattered more than the magic potions of "bonuses" and "perks"... Its nothing to do with negating player skills its about bringing tactical elements to the large battlefield. We already got magic potions in the form of rum rations. Having the flag ship near by would instil moral at the very least. Edited July 10, 2016 by Edward the Black
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 We already got magic potions... That's exactly why it is wrong and why it is wrong to keep in that path. No. No. No. More involvement of the captains needed in using the ships correctly not this mumbo jumbo. 1
