Jeheil Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Dear lovely Dev's, with 9.9 (a great patch) introducing Crew costs and Treasure hunting (in a bottle) both great ideas, I think Port Battle rewards need a little tweak between now and 'the big PB patch). Right now it is more profitable (or indeed less of a loss) to AI fleet mission or AFK fish. In a Port Battle you will lose crew and spend alot of time (often 3 hours to prep, defend wait and then defend). You get stuff all money, surrenders don't give Kill/Assist Benefits (thats probably another post !) and the port loot is crap compared to treasure loot. So please implement four small tweaks or similar : Please make port battle loot on par with treasure loot. Please allow 'overspill' loot to be sent to Clan/Personal Warehouse Please increase the $ reward for the winner to cover at least say 50crew x 1 for shallow, x2 for Deep, x4 for Regional PB or some such. Give credit for surrenders (based on damage for kill/assist) 1

I absolutely can't believe they did not fix this with this patch. It seems Naval Action is not intended to be a PVP game, but primarily a PVE grind game where you have to fund your PVP fun through hours and hours of killing AI ships. No point in playing this version then. I'm sure the numbers will reflect this within a week. My time really isn't worth grinding AI ships, sorry. Edited July 4, 2016 by Quineloe

Attach a trader to your flagship, which isn't allowed to enter port battle anyway. Then afterwards switch to it as flagship and take away the loot. I have got no clue whether it is actually possible though. $ reward for combat in general needs to be raised a bit. I think mid-level combat players now have a very hard time keeping their cash reserves up. Maybe we can even go so far as to give a little bit of money for crew loss in conjunction with crew kills?
