Rules:

• If you are inactive for 7 days (1 week) or longer without informing leadership you will be dismissed.

• Teamspeak is a must. Like most other clans we use it for pretty much everything.

• Listen to leaders/higher ranks within reason.

• If you have a problem with leadership do not make a scene. Let us know and we will talk about the issue and what we can do to resolve it.

• No Racism.
   

Reasons to join this clan:

• We train to become the best. However we do not claim to be the best. It’s merely what we strive for!
  We do this by Dueling, OW PvP and fighting each other in smaller groups (By using the Smuggler flag). Our focus is on Individual skill as well as group fighting.

• Helpful Veteran PvPers(PreAlpha/steam)

• Engaging in small and large group fights in OW

• PvP and RvR focused clan

• Simple Rank structure

• Mutiny will get ye Hung(Kicked from the clan)

 

Recruitment:  

 

• Strict Recruitment.

• 2 Week probationary period.

• Probationary period is needed so that leadership can confirm whether or not you are a good fit for the clan.

• About every 2 weeks the clan leadership has a meeting at which they “evaluate” the current recruits.

They have some very skilled players, and are fun to sail with.

'Twas on the 26th of July at Inagua we lay
And there we spied a rat just at the break of day
We raised the orange and the blue, to see if they our signal knew
The Indagator and its crew of brave OCEAN boys

Then all hands were called to quarters while we pursued the chase
With well primed guns, our tompions out and well spliced the main-brace
Then soon to the Pirates we did draw nigh, compelled to fight they were or fly
These words were passed: "conquer or die, My brave OCEAN boys"

Then loud our cannon thundered with peals tremendous roar
And death that on our bullets wings did drench their decks with gore
The blood did from their scuppers run, their chief exclaimed, 'we are undone'
Their flag they struck, the battle was won by brave OCEAN boys

Then to Parrot Cay we steered and brought her safe in port
The grand salute was fired and answered from the fort
And now a round the flowing bowl, with hearty glee each jovial soul
Drink as you fought, without control, my brave OCEAN boys

Now here's a health to Shelby, who did not fear the sight,

I've had the pleasure (maybe misfortune when i got sunk) of fighting against the OCEAN boys, they are a good bunch of guys, gallant in battle, and can take a joke.

 

Probably the better Swedish clan out there as far as PvP goes.

The Oceanic Privateers wishes everyone a happy new year! 

While OCEAN haven't been very active as of late we have high hopes that Naval Action will become great again in the new year! 

The Oceanic Privateers still roams the seas of the caribbean and what we lack in numbers we make up for in skill. 
We are the wolves of the sea, we sail with grace, we are humbly in defeat but most importantly: We strike fear in the hearts of our enemies and yet, we are gentlemen who strive for respect and honor. We will haunt those that defy us and dishonor us but we will do so with pride, grace and honor! 
But in all honesty, we are not true privateers. We do not fight for money but for honor and pride! 

Pro Honore et Gloria!

PS. We have been a bit grumpy as of late. We have had a lot of trouble playing the way we like as of late and that has come to show through the way we have communicated with people. The few times we've been ganked in the last month or so we have acted out of character, we have insulted our enemies for bringing greater numbers which is not the way of the Oceanic Privateer. While our anger is not with the players but with the game, we have taken it out on the players and that is our fault. 
I hope those that have had a bad experience with OCEAN will forgive us our "sins" so to speak and forget the past!
