Lack of server merge information from developers.

So I have been on pvp2 since January and have put in 1000 hours since. I am not here to argue for or against a server merger. Mainly I think the testers deserve to know where the decision making is at for the 'possible server merge'. I would like a developer to please let the naval action community know where you are at with this so we are not kept in the dark. If there ends up not being one I would like to suggest making assets on pvp2 redeemable, for a period of time, allowing players to switch nations or servers if they wish without shutting one server down. The reason I would like this is because I have all of my assets on a nation who's player base has left/stopped playing, so now when I log on I can't group up for missions, I can't do port battles, and I have no economy to shop from. I feel like there are lots of players in similar situations with friends/clans having moved or become inactive. This has caused some players to be isolated. If I have no choice I will change to pirate just to be able to play with others but having redeemable's would allow me to be flexible with where I wan't to play. Again I don't want to start a debate about a server merge, if you are happy on one of the couple of nations that still has a player base on pvp2 then good on ya, I just want the developers to tell us what they are deciding on.

Indeed...I mean all those who jumped the gun on this and hopped on the server jumping bandwagon are more than welcome to return to PvP2. Plenty of room and plenty of friendlies over here. I'm certain that your profiles still work on this server. So come on back!

Indeed...I mean all those who jumped the gun on this and hopped on the server jumping bandwagon are more than welcome to return to PvP2. Plenty of room and plenty of friendlies over here. I'm certain that your profiles still work on this server. So come on back!

 

I agree with allowing pvp1 players to have assets turned to redeemable's, didn't mean to make it sound like only pvp2 should be allowed. I feel like there has been so much fluctuation that allowing players to re-roll nations/servers might increase the active community on both servers.
