Neverdead Ned Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 It's been a ton of fun. Lot's of action, great co-operation between clans in GB. Even the other nations are playing or fighting with a good natured rivalry. Nice to see all the new guys coming from the PvE server....welcome to PvP2!

But you keep blowing that smoke! Pathetic! The server is dwindling and now you think it is reviving because you got more people to drop off other nations to bolster up others, (GB and Pirates), puh-lease! That's called a shell game-- a scam. Quit trying to deceive everyone into thinking you all created a great playing environment. I see more players leaving on a daily basis ... not coming. That's not snarky.. that's not being an antagonist.. thats called being REAL. There were over 100 players last week, and more the week before that.. today I saw a low of 35, and it only got to 97 at the height. So give me a break! Kudo's! way to go! Awesome! (NOT!) Another game dying a not-so-slow death. But hey ... I am just a gamer. BTW, just for some awe-inspiring insight and a CLUE! .... GB is NOT the only nation on the map. Maybe one day you all will figure that out. Ya take out all the competition.. and well, ... ya got none left! BUT I guess you all are really used to playing with yourselves anyhow!

Most of PvP2 france doesnt play anymore.

Seriously, we've had some great battles recently. I think we've had 4-5 different clans on various Ts working together. Most importantly, having fun. Good stuff.
Mrdoomed Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Its hard to keep a base when every week the game admin makes a statement that oh your server may or may not close and not ever get any more specific. Very bad management if you ask me. Ive seen our server be almost deada few times then grow to over 200 and almost 300 again a time or two because like it or not most north American and south american people will choose this server BUT every time the server starts doing better admin says oh hey we may close your server. When i log on in US evening bith US and EU server status says LOW so im not sure how pvp2 is some stepchild server. Seems there are more people living in all of Europe and Russia than in US and canada...DUH. It wont happen but the smart thing to do is offer a swap from pvp1 to 2 and encourage people who play at the server apropreate prime time play on that server.

It is the best game I have ever played, and I have played thousands having worked for Nintendo for many years. It has been fun to be a Brit and watch the madness and chaos unfold as major clans deserted to who knows where? In some ways, it is much for fun on PVP2 w/o them! To those who play on pvp2 and don't support it - go play on pvp1. pvp2 is better now than it's ever been, there are good battles, just as much pvp type action as there aught be and it's even become a more friendly enviornment as of late. Numbers are growing, port battles are happening and people are crafting, what more could you want? Stop complaining about a game that is already very enjoyable to play. The grass is always greener on the other side, but maybe most people don't realize how good we have it here. 1

I found a reason to play on PvP1 where I can improve a language. It would be hard for me to leave that learning tool to come back to pvp2. Even before the Great PvP2 exodus, it was hard for a frenchie to find PvP. I cant imagine what its like now.

I don't think I have ever seen as many ports changing hands and open world battles ever as yesterday, even at our peak server population levels many months ago. Despite of overwhelming odds, the nation of GB and the nation of the Pirates still stand under the relentless onslaught of the US Horde and I must say, although the US is my enemy in game, I am very glad that they to have chosen to stick it out on PvP2. 1

I'll be sticking with this server. A big thank you to the people who play on PvP2. Dev's, don't merge the servers. It is summertime in the northern hemisphere and people are just out doing what people do. When the weather turns bad they will go back indoors and play on the computer more and then you'll need the extra space. 3
Skully Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I think it is good that there are two environments developing for players. On PvP1 a harsh lowdown hardcore PvP and on PvP2 a more friendly sportsmanship style. I do see a couple of problems: It divides our population, one server having everybody would give more gameplay to everyone. (But not the type people are looking for perse.) New players can't find anywhere the difference between PvP1 and PvP2. Once a choice is made and you have invested time, it is a complete reset to start again. I know the AUS clanners who moved from PvP2 to PvP1 are hard pressed for assets and eagerly awaiting the merge to get everything back. Maybe there should be a mechanic that you can liquidate an asset and one week later you can redeem on the other server? I don't want to detract any time from current developments, but for now just put it up as an idea.

Hey you forgot about the sneaky traders on PvP2 making the economy spin and stealing your goods or shipping them to the crafters.
