Torgaz Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I have an issue with this game making my client and my video driver crash a lot of times while i'm in battle... My video card is a Sapphire R9 380 Nitro 4GB, i already tried to underclock my GPU but nothing changed. I have no issues with other games, only with this. My drivers are up to date, the temperature while playing is good so it is not a temperature problem. The issue happens ONLY when i'm in battle, never happened in free world. I already tried to change the video setting but here too, nothing changed. Can you help me figure it out?
Ink Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 In the video settings, what options have you tried? Like, did you try to use FPS limit option or turning FXAA off? Also, have you tried to set Compatibility with Windows 7 on the both client.exe and client_,exe files (here \SteamApps\common\Naval Action)?
Torgaz Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 (edited) I tried to set FPS limit to 30 and no i did not tried to turn off FXAA. About the Windows 7 compatibility, i tried it and the game seems to crash less frequently. I'll try to turn off FXAA but i really don't want to, because i want the game to be enjoyable to my eyes too... Edited June 20, 2016 by Torgaz
Torgaz Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 UPDATE: i turned off FXAA and nothing changed, the game still crashes
Ink Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Captain, could you please make clean driver install and also tweak underclock a bit more?
Torgaz Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 After 3 days of testing with NO CRASHES, i can finally say that the problem is solved. I did a clean driver install as you Ink wrote me, and as it seems it solved my issue. I also turned off the FPS lock with no issues, now i'll try to re-enable the FXAA, to not underclock my GPU anymore and to put the settings on ultra again. Ty for the support! 1
