Guest Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Time to build another gold frigate! I would try with a grey one first
Cmdr RideZ Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Waterline height adjusted on to correct levels on some vessels (it was placed too high before) Possible to know which vessels were fixed? 1
Kanay Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Ingermanland blueprint drop learning chances adjusted Thanks a million for this, have gave up any hope yesterday afer a last gold frigate done. According to the API chances from frigate are now 2.5% instead of 1% but also it have 5% drop chances from the Belle poule and Indiaman ! No more frigates done at loss. Again thanks a lot Admin
sacapus Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Great ! Is the Indianman BP drop needs adjustment too like the Ingermanland ? Built about 10 exceptionnal LGV and still no BP. Any plan to rework or adjust boarding ? Like reduce timer ? Where is server located, still experience many disconnect yesterday and major lag in instance (always between 60 and 90 minutes of the battle timer). I will report the issue again in proper forum.
hellshammy Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Tunings Ingermanland blueprint drop learning chances adjusted We demand a refound for all the x frigates and LH spent for nothing ! Drop the BP to all those that made 5x gold frigs and got nothing 2

Enraged Ewok Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the patch notes, but I noticed last night (before 9.84) that a timer displayed with the remaining time allowed to enter an OW battle for players on the OW when clicking the marker. I don't recall seeing this earlier between 9.83 and 9.84. Any chance something squeaked by, or was I just really late noticing it?
Slackline Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 OK I understand these adjustments...somewhat. However I am seeing a few trends here that are concerning. Last few patches have made it pretty much a joke to even try to demast. This patch takes it further. Additionally there seems to be a trend toward ship normalization and it is starting to get to the point where if you are not in the same type ship you might as well not even fight. Before long all will be sailing the same type ships or trying to up one another until the same type ship is all that is on the water. Recommend placing a halt on reducing demastting effect...as it was a viable tactic of the times. Recommend a halt on ship normalization or a hard look at avoiding normalization adjustments even at the request of the masses. A skilled player in smaller ship should not be placed at disadvantage due the trend toward normalization of ships.

Demasting was a joke before was able to demast a connie in my connie in 6 min. All the BP i have been in and OW battles have been a who can demast the other first to win.

Paint Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) --Content Moderated-- Okay, for you i´ll explain it. You can lose anything at any given time in this Alpha. There will be no refund for a readjustment thing whatsoever. Edited June 17, 2016 by Henry d'Esterre Darby 3
Jean Ribault Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Thanks devs, nice tunings. Appreciate the continued work.
Sir Edward Pellew Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Good news. Can't wait for the oncoming patch this month. Sold two frigates today when over last two weeks only 1 sold. Happier but still no drop whatsoever - not even a note will try again this evening.

Good for you. Thanks, really was not aware of that. Can you explain why did it take so long for a simple % adjusment that could have been done in previus hotfixes and save the market of the frigate flood, and many players of the lost time spent spamming them when it could have been spent testing something else? Please, teach me senpai!
Allons! Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 @ hellshammy, Devs have also labour hours & they spent it on the large carriages coming.

Because the game is beeing tested and it seemed like there was no issue. Because its their own fault to waste so much time for this. Like you did. Funny Meme by the way, You´re the cool guy.
