nah dont be scared iam not gonna leave :), This should be just a friendly reminder that every new thread with the title "iam gonna leave" is damaging the game quiet a bit, or the moral of the comunity and therefor the populations, and also Game Labs reputation.

another reason is so the devs can actuel follow why their players are searching on new adventures.

Healthy advise

Also, sometimes people burn themself out on a game, then its time to step back and do something else, play an other game, enjoy the "outside", cutting bonsais and so on.

i took a break for some weeks to play crossout, really its a bad game do not bother with it. The basic game was ok but all this repairstuff and alpha damageboats.

So instead making a new thread use this thread instead.

Share your reasons with us, why are you leaving,or take a brake, from this game.

Please be polite, and follow the forum rules.

I understand you and that it is doing that. but I also see there side and that is players don't see any change they fell needs to be doing and that is there way to show it.

I'm not going to leave, and i never left. I'm just barely there, because the thing is with this beautiful game it's very time consuming.

It's not like i'm playing for like 1 or 2 hours, or i'm playing 3 or 4 matches. No i must sit there for the whole ride, and it's not a bad thing but it's just a fact!

Example;

Doing missions for gold and XP, buy/trade materials for building a ship or buy a ship with A LOT of gold, save up to labour hours to build a ship, find the right person who can build the ship.

So with all that i let someone build me a exceptional Pavel (2 dura),

Now here comes the thing!

I go for a "quick mission" near my capital to "test my Pavel with less guns and different upgrades" i had one hour to play. After i had done the mission i wanted to head back and i'm getting tagged by 4 enemy ships ( 2x renommee 1 suprise and 1 trinc) a good challenge against a pavel and for me a fun match, downside is no time left :(. I played until my time was up i had a tie match imo, but i had to surrender because lack of time. I excused myself to my opponents for leaving the battle 1/2 way. So 1 dura lost, a potential great match lost.

And this why hover with mouse above the Naval Action icon on my desktop, and look at my clock and think "neh, Unfortunately not enough time". And play a couple of battlefront or battlefield 4 matches.

So i still like the game with the current game mechanics, i just don't have enough time to enjoy it at it's fullest. And i think many people experience the same problem i have?

Unfortunately this issue makes you a " filthy casual" in the eyes of many on the forum. Therefore your concerns are not worth noting.

Many new players do complain about how long it takes to kill npcs or travel from port to port. Many people have only 1-2hours to play and won't last long in this game if only 1 battle takes away 1 hour. In my opinion fine tune did not happened yet and eventually everything will be balanced. Question is when? Time is our worst enemy now.

I understand what you are saying...  But on the other hand, why does the game have to be modified to suit their needs?  What makes one type of player more valuable than another?  I know of plenty of games I'd like to try but realize I dont have the time to devote to it.  The fact is there is ALWAYS going to be people who dont have time to play this type of game.  And its unfortunate, but the truth.  Again, its a fine line the devs are trying to walk between realism and gameplay.

I really can't believe that many people whould think that here on the Naval Action forum's? i really thought this forum is more mature than a COD or Battlefield forum or ingame chat?

"filthy Casual'' comes usually with ''console peasants'' ''Pc Master race'' etc. etc., and  i assume these people are of age that can be easely be pointed on the clock, and they have to go to bed after sesame street. or, there is something seriously wrong with their way of thinking and/or communicating? i bet they won't say it straight to me in person without a forum and 2 screens between us?

like the OP said,

and i answered, according to this a very reasonable explanation why i'm not playing Naval Action that much. without any grief or hate towards players/other forum users, or hate towards game mecahnics or developers. in fact i love the game mechanics as realistic as possible (stil hoping for dynamic windspeeds & leeway). but the fact is, it's very time consuming.

maybe I did not understand your reply. And if i am, i'm sorry for that, but if my concerns are worth nothing, don't reply, because like you said they are worth nothing.

I love this game and spend many of hours a day doing different things, trying out different set ups, making money in the shop, trying to improve my game play,

I can not wait until the final release of the game, and will stick to this game until it's finished

Really dude? Filthy casual?

I would consider your opinion less reliable due to your lack of compassion or ability to see past your latest hack. Don't bash the player for voicing his case -- just because you deem him inferior. Reality check .... I don't recognize your opinion at all. Less than reputable ... not even worth noting actually. So the next time someone gives their case... agree or disagree. Otherwise keep your trash crap comments up your arse!

And to them .. I would highly suggest the PVE server. Where you are not ganked at the most inopportune time. Not trying to trivialize their plight or endeavors.. but it might be just easier to be able to conduct battles on their own terms (to engage or not to engage) rather than risk being caught and tied up in battle.

Let me get this straight...this was a post that would allow people who were going to post "I'm gonna leave" threads one location to do that. Yet, all I see are people attacking and complaining about the one person who posted a semi critical addition. Why does the game have to change for this guy right? Because that guy is not alone. Why don't you play the way we do? Because he plays the way he can, due to easily removed or changed time constraints imposed on him by the game. If this is pre-alpha then the game will change and by virtue of that fact, the way YOU play will have to change. Then you can be the one who has to read the "people who leave don't care about he game" and the "their toxic" comments. News flash...people who don't care just go. People who want this to be a great game complain, even in the face of such hysteria about dissenting opinions.

I quit this game a few weeks ago because I kept getting DC'ed. Oh, it was fine later on.

I quit this game last week because the new version of ROOTS was on and since I was on vacation I actually went to sleep at sunrise. (work nights)

Roots was really, really good.

I quit last night because, as I claimed, in the forums, that one of the fowl birds pooped on my deck.

Na, just funnin'.

I will keep logging in for as long as I am able. Sometimes I will do so more than other times.

When CIV 6 drops, y'all are on your own for a while.

Pertaining to Justme's comment about the "filthy casual". I re-read it several times and feel that JM is pointing out the attitudes of other players who post on these forums. Those of us who are considered casual players do feel put upon by other posters who spew vitriol at us just because we play the way we do. I have been reading and posting here for about two years and see a lot of this. Some of the "hard core players" can be just down right stupid. There is my sermon.

I play on PvE, and I can usually get in a bot fight or two before bed. Sometimes not, due to lack of anything on the water. The bots usually give a good fight. Since we are on equal footing here(pvp) I don't see how a people fight can be much better or worse. There's only so much you can do with a ship. Running out of time does really suck.

Surely it's better that people leave with an explanation than just going quietly? Feedback is important and whilst I did see a dev say there was no need to post a goodbye thread, I can't help but feel this would be a missed opportunity to get an idea of why people leave. There's no exit poll sadly.

Oh yeah, bring that on.  I want it.

NA or Civ?  I think Jean might be seen less too.  There's my excuse.

To me it is the UNBALANCED nature of the game......

The Dev did not take the advice of the player base about the BS - PIRATE problem now there are 180 players on at Primetime--- Saturday Night.

Myself I logon just to do some resource harvest during the week and try to get some time in on my weekends.

But sailing around trying to find the other 180 players online now (I bet 80-90% are Pirate) and 1 hour later and not spotting 1 enemy player(even after sitting outside their main base)

Makes me  LOGOFF.....

EEEEEEeeeeeee...sorry, the answer is, they do care about the game, but thanks for playing. The reason YOU and the echo chamber you live in, never hear it is...it's what they wrote. Which is not what YOU want to read. The moment that this game starts taking people who are leaving and who have left seriously, is the moment it will improve and flourish.

I am not leaving the game nor do I desire to, but I will be taking a long break as I don't have the time to dedicate to it like I did pre-full access.  I'm giving 3D modeling a go in the hopes that I can still contribute to the game development in some way that doesn't require me to sail from point A to point B for time on end or grind a few missions then log for the day.  I am not in any way bashing the game, but I feel I'd get more out of the modeling than I would from the grind.  I'm hoping to sail with the rest of TF on Eu1 sometime later in the year.

This is so untrue, I live in the uk and I am up all night till early hours in the morning , Never have I ever seen players that low from which your quoting, I even play the us time zone and the australian time zone and I have never seen it with your figures that you are quoting.

And as for Saturday night where do you fight your battles north pole?

PS: ERM cough cough, (I bet 80-90%) are not Pirates
