Dutch Naval Representation

So my question is, are there any other dutch ship coming soon?

 

The 2015 poll, besides the general enthusiasm in the initial 2016 player poll, shows that folks are interested in dutch representation.

 

I know a lot of the Dutch ships that have been requested are older than the timeline you guys want to stick to, but there are also plenty of Dutch ships that fit the timeline too.

Count this German in as one interested in the raising of Dutch ships. There are a few I have come across through my various studies that I would like to captain myself...

Unfortunately not anytime soon.  There are 0 Dutch ships in game and there are 0 confirmed for development.  You can compare the national breakdown in the hopefully comprehensive list of ships ingame and in developement.

ppl voted a lot for the Admiraal de Ruyter. A wreeker class 80 gunner (3rd rate) with a combination of 32|24|12pd guns. very, very potent armament against any other SoL..

De Ruyter was later upgraded to 90 guns but they mainly added small calibers

Maybe a good word to the devs bungeelemming??? I hope when draught is in the game that dutch sols can go further in shallow then other ships. Then the pirates have no more saveheaven in the Bahama's ????

Btw the Dutch were a very important player untill Napoleon Bonaparte came around 1796. Funny thing there was the only battle were an Army!! captured a whole fleet of a navy

Why wouldn't you want new ships? Especially varying ships. I am just hoping the Dutch will get a better naval representation.

As a dutch guy who absolutely adores the dutch 54 gunners pre 1750(roughly), I would love to see some of those lovely beauties in game!
