Port Battles in PvE

Just a question; I would really like to see port battles of some sort in PvE. I speak for a group of us whom feel the same way about port battles in PvE - it would sure add a new interesting dimension to PvE even if the battles are held by AI.

This is why I never quite understood the PvE server. You grind all the way up to an apparent lack of any end game content?

They can always see the light after a while and join the pvp servers  

 

I doubt it would be hard in just slapping AI to defend those ports, but if ports become capturable in a PVE server that kind of seems to go against the core of the PVE server

I rather like the OP's idea. there're a coupla ports around and near Jamaica that need to be kept in the RNs hands
