Mission cross swords visible to entire group

Hi guys,

It it possible for someone's mission destination to be visible to the entire group when teamed up?

That would allow the group to spread in a search for it.

I'm coming from the perspective of the person with the best ship, leading the group just happening to be not a great navigator lol.

And in real life when looking for ships to attack that is what squadrons did.......spread out, keeping in sight abreast until a sighting ( of whatever they were looking for) was made.
