Yah they should of put the Heavy Rattler in the Pirate Den since the Nats get the Aggy's and SOL's and we only get a Pirate Frigate (well now we get 3rd Rate and Bellona).   To many would complain even though Pirates should be master of the shallows and Nationals the big ships.   

Though really I don't get why they removed the Rattler's (both types), Niagara and the Ingermanland.  They mention they will be used for stuff later, but that is freaking what a year from now?  After release?   When?  I mean a lot of folks want the Wappen in game, though I expect it's going to be a reward ship like the SC.  Speaking of another ship they should put in the Pirates Den.  Nats can keep the stinking SOL's if we got these two ships with the P Frigate I'll be a happy camper.  It's not like folks couldn't capture them or just make some trade to get them.

Speedcap at 15. So it wouldnt be different then the Suprises at the moment ... and with the guns on Trader mechanic a Trader could escape better from a Rattle i guess.

I think the whole Trader with guns Mechanic should have been only Pirate Mechanic, would have made sense from a historical point of view, so you would have had something special or a upgunned Indiamen.

No. All merchantmen were armed.

A full gundeck is a little excessive for the trader's snow and brig, though.

Indeed as they maneuver and shoot like their naval opposites even they have only half the crew
