Nelson Hornblower Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 When the patch was first released, as a smuggler you could go into an enemy port and craft your resources. Now it seems that feature has been turned off. With it off, not sure what the point of smuggling is. Especially for the US where we have no ports. How are you supposed to smuggle when you can't build anything? If you have the smuggling tag on, you should be able to craft in enemy ports.
Musuko42 Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 As far as I understand, smuggling is for buying and selling resources and materials in enemy ports. Buy your resources, and then sail them home to craft them there. 1
Baron Von WeisenCracker Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 ok .. new bullshit.. need to change this ASAP .. Smugglers should NOT be able to set up OUTPOSTS in enemy ports! PERIOD! Boo -- hiss -- and throw things!.. total BULLSHIT! if they are from different nationality tags, they should not be allowed to buy an outpost --- I can understand buy and sell .. that's cool .. but to be able to establish a Base of operations out of an enemy port is totally freaking BROKEN!!

Smugglers are not allowed to set up outpost in enemy port and if player had outpost in port which was captured, he is not able to craft there anymore..
Nelson Hornblower Posted May 22, 2016 Author Posted May 22, 2016 but.. Exactly, I have a port in the enemy port, so I should be able to craft my resources (maybe at a premium), but should have that option.
Pagan Pete Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I LOVE snuggling! I Snuggle all the time with me ginger cabin boy, Little Willy. Oh… wait...Smuggling. Sorry, I misread that!
Jean Ribault Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 You can only go there to the enemy port if you have a previously created outpost, and then sell any ships you have there or stuff in your warehouse. Can't craft, so if you also have buildings then just destroy them and open up those slots for elsewhere. If you think that port will become your nation's again, then you might want to keep the outpost and the buildings.
