New player help

Hello fellow seafarers I have a question before I decide to create a Character what nation would one suggest to a newbie such as myself.  thanks for the help gentleman and ladies.

What server are you planning on joining?

You can always make a new character on another server/ nation and still keep all your rank/xp, so its not a huge problem when you're trying to decide between factions at the beginning.

 

Also as said above, what server?
