Messages with little meaning

I've been noticing odd messages coming up during the game.

The most recent one is Penders 3 brigades are coming on the chambersburg pike.

I see no Pender. I see no chambersberg pike.

I think historically both exist but from what I see in the game neither exist or are marked on the map?

I'd have to look to check if and where each is named, but, for reference it is helpful to know, in terms of clock directions from Gettysburg itself.

 

Chambersburg Pike is the 10 o'clock road

Mummasburg Road 11

Carlisle Road 12

Harrisburg Road 1

York Road 2

Hanover Road 3 curving to 3:30

Baltimore Pike 5

Taneytown Road 6

Emmitsburg Road 7

Fairfield Road 9 angling to 8:30

...

Clicking on the message will focus the camera in the area that the event happens.

Husserl, Very good. Thats what I expected and tested.

 

When i click on the focus it goes to a road marked as Taneytown road not Chambersberg Pike. I'll do it again tonight and let you know which scenario it does it in.

Last night i did it on a different scenario and sure enough it worked so it must be bad text or bad focus on just one scenario. 

I'll test again and let you know.

Hi Richard. Please, have in mind that you will not see all Pender's brigades come in column one after another from Chamb Pike. When they enter the map, the brigades are already en-route for their deployment positions, north and south of Chamb Pike.

It was the day 1 p.m. scenario.

I sent in the bug report last night with the screen shot showing them coming in.

I saw the message and clicked focus. 

The camera goes to the road someway south of the Chamb Pike not to the Chamb Pike itself.

 

The brigades all enter at that other road to the south. no where near the pike. That was my confusion.

 

Perhaps just change the text unless the entry position is in fact incorrect and they should enter closer to the Pike.

 

The road they enter on seems unnamed on the map.
