XP should keep accumulating after the top rank? For another purpose perhaps like 60yrs service medal?

After reaching the top rank in this game I noticed that my XP is shown after battle but not where my rank is in port or the open world.

I would still love to see if not ranks then perhaps accumulation of XP for other purposes like medals or badges of experience. Like at work you get a gold watch for 60yrs service etc

I'd want more than a gold watch for 60 years service, chances are you'd be dead shortly after retiring.

 

I imagine regardless of reaching the current maximum rank (Rear Admiral?) eventually it will go to Admiral of the Fleet, or even 1st Sea Lord if english.
