groups obscuring compass in battle

This is really annoying but after grouping up then joining a battle the list of group members is on top of the compass and ship speed

Errmm, you know you can drag the group "window" to any position you like?

As Bommel said, just click/hold on the group and you can move it to whatever position you want. Personally, I drag mine to the right side of the screen above the battle map.

actually really no reason to have the groups even showing in battle.. you dont have group flags showing like open world...

In the battle hold ctrl and when the cursor appears, move the group window wherever you want.
