Thonys Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Hi captains, atm you can only trade labor hours in the chat why is there not a option to rent them in the shop you buy/(hire) labour hours for a later time on the opposite side you put your labour hours for rent on the shop for people who wants to buy them for there development so a new option> Hire labor hours is a idea for the shop i think because atm it sucks in chat and not trust able by default Greetings
marcmb Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Great idea. I could just craft infinite number of ships instantly!
Thonys Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 Great idea. I could just craft infinite number of ships instantly! if you have to buy a hour for 1000 gold> i think you think twice ) (1000x 1245 {conti}=1245000 gold only hours(??) so infinite is not in your pocket ) i think...
Galileus Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 1. The LH system is done precisely to avoid a situation where grinding more would allow you to craft more 2. Problems with buying craft XP 3. The unlimited nature or market. There is a limit to people willing to go through the hoops of community crafting, there is none for market of LH. 4. Devaluation of everything crafting related. 5. People not interested in using their LH get to enjoy steady regenerating money - they don't even need to socialize with others to convert them to gold! 6. Socialization element is lost. There were some 87-89 more arguments against that, these are the bullet points. Well, most of them. 1
Quineloe Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Great idea. I could just craft infinite number of ships instantly! What makes you think he asked for an infinite supply of hours?
marcmb Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 What makes you think he asked for an infinite supply of hours?I see people buy/sell hours for as little as 100-150. At that rate i could just buy 100 000k craft 50 santis and be done with it ?
Quineloe Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 simple solution: Purchased hours can only be used on level 0 BPs
Thonys Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) simple solution: Purchased hours can only be used on level 0 BPs or a max per day lets say 250 lh what means roughly 1/4 of your daily lh income per day max just restrict it when it becomes unbalanced i am a carpenter who can hire a plumber ,just to help out a bit Edited May 1, 2016 by Thonys 2
Galileus Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 simple solution: Purchased hours can only be used on level 0 BPs And that helps how exactly?

MMM.... and they sell it on the chat ;( and thats my point its already being done so why not doing it on the market for secure reasons on the market you can restrict it as well
Galileus Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 MMM.... and they sell it on the chat ;( and thats my point its already being done so why not doing it on the market for secure reasons on the market you can restrict it as well Because it's not being done "through the chat". It's being done using chat to coordinate. It still takes a lot of work and cooperation between parties. The very thing you want to remove is the thing that is supposed to happen - socialization, crafting circles, human aspect, work that needs to be put into the whole process. Your proposal not only breaks the system, it also makes it less engaging, less self-controlling (no need to actually coordinate), less social and all in all lesser. 1
shaeberle84 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Let's re-introduce AI capping, but instead of capping you get a "break up" of ~20% of the labour hours used to produce the ship you capped.

People with high craft levels could produce more ships and at the same time raising their price, while people with low craft levels would be in the long run lossy.

Galileus Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 well you talks about balance i talk about exchanging lh from people who dont use it ,and want to sell it for gold it is not the same i think you miss the point With all due respect, what the h* is this? "You talk about my idea affecting balance, I talk about my idea, it's not the same, you missed the point" What kind of logic is this? You don't get to just brush a comment you don't like off. You get to be called out for trying to play dirty, that's what you get o_O And no, random images do not make it better.
