multiple NA accounts - steam or not?

I was wondering if, in order to have a second account on NA, it is mandatory having a second account on steam or if there is another way to achieve the same result (of course buying a new license on the game).

You can't have same serial for both accounts. You will have to buy another one and use Sandboxie or just another PC to have 2 accounts run at the same time.

I do not want to dualbox (use two accounts at the same time), but just having two accounts (one for trading and the other for figthing) and I would like to know if - for doing it - I shall have two steams accounts or if I could do otherwise.

You need 2 Steam accounts and 2 game copies.
